How LBF Dance School uses your personal data, and your rights.
Data controller
Luxembourg Bachata Family ASBL (LBF Dance School), 56, rue du Commerce, L-3616 Kayl, Luxembourg, RCS Luxembourg F14885. Contact: info@lbfdanceschool.lu · +352 691 19 21 50.
Cookies, statistics and videos
Statistics (Google Analytics 4, Google Ireland Ltd), only if you accept them in the cookie banner: to understand how our website and registration forms (forms.lbfdanceschool.lu) are used and to improve them. Google Analytics records the pages viewed and interactions such as clicks and forms sent, an approximate location derived from your IP address (the address itself is not stored) and the type of device and browser. We never send your name, contact details or answers to Google; Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off. Advertising measurement, only if you also tick it: Google may record whether your visit comes from one of our ads, to measure their results, never for personalised advertising. Cookies: lbfga_ga, lbfga_ga_…, kept up to 13 months after your last visit. Detailed data are deleted at the latest 14 months after your last visit; only aggregated statistics remain. Lawful basis: your consent.
Without your agreement, no statistics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics; the website and the forms work the same. Your choice applies to the website and the registration forms; if you reach a form directly without having chosen, it is asked there. It is kept for six months in the lbf_consent cookie, then asked again. You can change or withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page of the website: the measurement stops at once and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
Videos (YouTube, Google Ireland Ltd): nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press the Accept and load the YouTube video button shown on each video. YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode, then receives your IP address and technical data about your browser and device, and may store information on your device. Your agreement applies only to that video during your visit and is not saved; without it, nothing is sent to YouTube. Lawful basis: your consent, given with this button.
Our hosting provider records technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to run and secure the website. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running and securing the website. Kept for as long as our hosting provider keeps its security logs.
Contact form
The contact form sends your name, e-mail address and message to info@lbfdanceschool.lu so that we can reply. To prevent abuse, a coded form of your IP address is kept for 24 hours at most. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering your request. Messages are kept for at most 12 months after our last exchange.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we use your e-mail address to send you news about LBF Dance School: classes, registrations and events. Subscribing is optional and does not reserve a place. Our e-mails contain a small image and links that let our e-mail service provider record whether you open them and which links you click; we use this only to improve our newsletter. Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the box when you subscribe, for the e-mails and for this measurement.
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, with the link in each e-mail or by writing to info@lbfdanceschool.lu. If someone else subscribed your address, we remove it on request.
Your address is kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, it is kept with its unsubscribed status only to make sure you are not contacted again, for as long as necessary. A pseudonymous record of your consent, which does not contain your address in clear text, is kept for five years after your subscription ends, even if you ask for erasure, so that we can prove your consent in case of a claim.
Registration and free trial classes
The registration and free trial forms collect your identity and contact details, your class choices and, for bank transfers, your proof of payment, to manage your registration, your place and your payment. Lawful basis: the performance of your registration (contract) and, for payment records, our legal obligations. Kept for the duration of your registration, then as long as the association’s accounting obligations require.
Photos and videos
Photos and videos may be taken at classes and events to document and present LBF’s activities. Lawful basis: your consent where you are clearly recognisable in an image we publish, and otherwise our legitimate interest in documenting our activities, with your right to object at any time. If you do not wish to appear, tell the LBF team or the photographer in advance; you can object, or ask for an image of you to be removed, at any time at info@lbfdanceschool.lu.
Recipients and transfers
Your data are processed by LBF and by service providers acting on its instructions: hosting of the website and forms, e-mail, newsletter sending and registration management. The website is hosted in the European Union. Data are never sold, and never used for personalised advertising.
If you accept the statistics, Google Ireland Ltd processes them on our behalf. If you load a YouTube video, Google Ireland Ltd receives the data described above and uses them under its own privacy policy.
Transfers outside the European Union: Google and some of our other service providers, or their subcontractors, may access data from outside the European Union, in particular from the United States or India, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses; details are available on request at the contact address above.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, their rectification or erasure, the restriction of their processing or their portability, object to their processing and withdraw a consent at any time, by writing to info@lbfdanceschool.lu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), Luxembourg.
You may object at any time, without giving a reason, to receiving our newsletter: we then stop immediately.
